An intimate look at a famous lifelong love affair

For anyone interested in the musician/songwriter/poet Leonard Cohen, this is a fascinating documentary about his passionate and sometimes rocky love affair with Marianne Ihlen (the subject of his song "So Long, Marianne"). There is a lot about the decadent 1960s artists' enclave on the Greek island of Hydra (where Leonard and Marianne met) and the casualties it left in its aftermath (including Marianne's son by a previous marriage). Plenty of excellent archival footage of Leonard Cohen in performance and just being a cool dude.
