The Red Address Book

A Life Well Lived in extraordinary circumstances

When one thinks about an address book, it generally has information about contacts such as telephone numbers, but this Red Address book has many personal memories of Doris's life.  Reflecting, on her adventures and the people she has met, Doris decides to write them down on paper for her niece to read. I enjoyed reading, as each page gave more information and the stories made me want to know more about her life. What a bittersweet yet heartwarming ending to the book. If you liked “A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Bakman, also written by a Swedish author, you certainly would like to read this book.
