An All-American dance form

I accidentally stumbled on this video in Kanopy when I was searching for more history on tap dancing, while reading a biography about a dancer. I have always enjoyed the old movies with dancing and have a few favorite dancers: Fred Astaire, Bojangles, the Nichols brothers and Donald O’Connor. The filmmakers talked to current tap dancers about their style and who were their mentors/idols. They show clips of the current dancers performing and then show archival footage of their mentors/idols dancing. I learned about new forms of dance and some new dancers, as always, I enjoyed watching the old footage.
