Even after all these books, I’m still fascinated by this world and it's characters!

While Archangel’s War was an epic conclusion to a major story arc, Singh’s latest looks at the clean-up from the war, various strains of the reborn still terrorize the world—with Africa the hardest hit. The Archangel of Africa needs all the help he can get, yet for some reason the Cadre has sent him The Hummingbird—an almost mythical ancient said to be living out of time, a dreamy artist shattered by events in her past. Except Lady Sharine, isn’t at all what he believed. No longer fractured and now determined to live in the present, she is becoming the woman she was always meant to be—powerful, wise, and dangerous. The banter is fun, the inside look at Sharine’s fracture and healing is insightful. Even after all these books, I’m still fascinated by the world and characters Singh has created.
