I love an album that makes me cry, yearn for romance, want a nice fire going (in the fireplace or a bonfire)... and this album is like a huge hug. Yola has been an artist for almost two decades providing backing vocals for other groups, as well as the lead singer in Phantom Limb. Her voice is able to capture the essence of romance, longing, melancholy... basically you name the emotion, her voice will cause you to swell with emotion. A lovely sound that reminds me of Mama Cass, this is one to not pass up.
