Campaigning to change Flint’s water source proved to be a considerable challenge!

Mona is a pediatric physician at a hospital in Flint Michigan. She tells the story of how she tried to bring awareness to public officials that she was concerned about Flints water and what she was seeing in her young patients. Mona describes in detail all the data collection, people contacted and bureaucratic run-around she goes through to find anyone that will help her declare that there is a problem with the water in Flint. You become frustrated along with her when people won’t take her seriously or demand more data and rejoice when she makes another connection with someone who wants to help.
