A humorous and cute cozy mystery/holiday romance/paranormal-fantasy. I don’t think I have read anything remotely like this before! (And no wonder, because Black authors and characters are WAY underrepresented in every single one of those above mentioned genres.) Unique and quirky characters add to the fun as Selene and Aiden try to figure out what is behind the mysterious occurrences going on in Brimrock while trying to keep their identities secret and falling for each other in the process. Selene is a “Bewitched” type witch who can basically wiggle her nose so to speak and have the books on her library cart shelve themselves, so if you are okay with believing in magic for a bit, this is a fun escape!
