A tender story about an elderly widow trying to find purpose in her life.

Missy, a widow with grown children, tries to be helpful (and needed) by taking on an extended dog sitting job. While on their daily walks, Bob (the dog) helps Missy meet people in her neighborhood.  And the adventure begins. As Missy gets to know her neighbors, she learns to embrace a new life, beyond motherhood and being a widow. This story made me laugh, cry and even felt touched as Missy learned to open up to her new friends. I listened to the Audiobook, but this is also available in print, large print and eBook.
