I'm Possible

It's not often that you see a tuba on the cover of a book, and when I did I was ecstatic.

Richard Antoine White and I are about as different from each other as two people can be, but what we have in common boils down to one very important thing: when we were young, we both fell in love with the tuba. Dr. White was certainly more competitive than I am, and he was tenacious in pursuing his professional career, but when it comes down to why we love playing tuba, it’s the same. The language we speak is the same. The way he talks about performing, it made my heart flutter with the ghost of the feeling of the stage lights coming up and the conductor raising his baton. But if you don’t happen to play the tuba, don’t worry, this book is still for you. The story is fantastic, he has lived an amazing life! Amazing, and inspiring.
