A cult classic well worth the investment

With footnotes that sometimes go on for pages and over 100 pages of appendixes, this is a book that demands a lot of the reader. The effort is absolutely worth it. Get lost in the labyrinthine manuscript as complicated and inconsistent as the house it investigates. This is a haunting novel with a mix of psychological and supernatural horror that I will be thinking about for a long time to come.
