A Great Choice for Earth Day!

Although this book stands out as a great selection for a spring or Earth Day read, please read anytime of the year.  The author of this book is well known for creating books with exceptional photography.  This book is in that category. I don’t want to say too much because the book is better read than discussed, but it does a really good job at showing the beauty and creativity within nature. The detail and texture shown in the photographs are excellent for use in math, science, geography, learning opposites, units on seasons, and writing. As you browse through the pages, discuss the images and see if you have a favorite. The author has included ideas and resources to learn more about appreciating and studying planet earth.
