I am a big fan of tabletop role playing games.  A game based around My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic seemed a little silly to me, until I read the game book.  This has to be the best introductory role playing game book I have ever read.  It is delightful from beginning to end.  It really encourages all the best parts of any role playing game: playing your character and working together to solve problems.  Character creation is super easy and fast and the rules are easy to understand, flexible, and not complicated at all.  The introductory adventure is cute and fun, and gives new players lots of opportunity to learn the game, work together, and find interesting and creative ways to solve problems.  When I was describing the system to my gaming friends (as they laughed about me reading it in the first place), they quickly decided that it sounded fun and something they wanted to try.  I may be running an adult Tails of Equestria game really soon.  Get your gang together and have some fun with this most friendly of role playing games.
