I loved this story about finding a community and making connections when you feel all is lost, strongly recommend for anyone child or adult that has dreamed of belonging. Twelve year old Abigail (she/her/hers) is excited to find a place where she can be herself, without judgment and rejection. Thirteen year old Kai (e/em/eir) isn't so excited. Eir just wants to hang with friends and people that accept em and not talk about why eir arm is in a sling.
