Samara Joy’s Christmas EP is a delightful small collection with two more rare holiday titles introduced in the 1950s and 60s respectively, a beautiful warm buttery version of “The Christmas Song,” and two more annual classics—"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “O Holy Night”—which stand out as both feature The McLendon Family, comprised of Joy’s grandfather, father, uncle and two cousins. They are a tremendously talented family, and this is a wonderful permanent addition to my holiday rotation.
