What if the forbidden romance of Romeo and Juliet was a front? What if Juliet was an aspiring entrepreneur who wanted to live life on her own terms in a society that could only see her potential as some nobleman's wife? What if Romeo was an artistic and sensitive soul who wanted to leave the city's ruling classes and could only see himself spending the rest of his life working the land with another man. In this tender and imaginative retelling of Romeo and Juliet, we see that forbidden love and thwarted potential are universal themes ... and that, at least sometimes, commitment and creativity can win out.
