You, you, you Oughta Listen to this Album!

My dad gave me the CD when I was way too young to understand the lyrics and themes, but I know good music when I hear it! Songs like “You Oughta Know” and “Ironic” remain culturally relevant, even if meme-ified: “Is it REALLY ironic for you to win the lottery and die the next day?” The production and vocals are timeless. If you haven’t listened to this album all the way through, including the hidden track at the end, I would highly recommend. If you enjoy artists like Fiona Apple and Natalie Merchant, you might like this album too.
