A nice introduction to Rock Your Mocs Day.

Sometimes it’s nice to take time out to learn something new. Rock Your Mocs Day began in 2011 and was originally celebrated on November 15 and is now a weeklong celebration. The focus on moccasins and the importance of the cultural legacy behind them is captured in this wonderfully illustrated picture book. On its own and with other resources, this book can also be used as introduction to various Indigenous Tribal cultures. Very nice for classroom, community and home use.
