Clark’s essays express his experiences of the world we all live in, as a DeafBlind man who is active in his community and his involvement in the evolving development of a touch-based language called Protactile, whereby its users communicate by touch. This book shares a voice and celebrates an experience that is underrepresented in our society, reminding us that there is always more to be learned by listening to folks whose lives are different from our own.
