As a casual Billie Eilish fan, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this album. It feels reminiscent of some songs from her debut album, with heavy bass and showcases more of her soprano range that we really got to see in Happier Than Ever. From the bouncy, ‘Get up and dance’ vibe of “LUNCH” to the “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” that wishes for long lasting love and feels like you’ve got the wind in your hair, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT is great for any and all fans of Billie Eilish.
