A coming-of-age graphic novel memoir.

In this graphic novel memoir, author and artist Penelope Bagieu transforms diary entries from her childhood and adolescence into fifteen vignettes that portray friendship, love, grief, and coming-of-age.  Bagieu includes it all - from hopeless crushes to awkward attempts at adulthood.  The expressive illustrations convey as much meaning as the words.  This will appeal to readers who enjoyed Raina Telgemeier in elementary school.
