Space Adventure and Found Family

It has been over 20 years since Firefly graced our TVs, but I still miss it. Occasionally, there is a space opera book that hits the same feel, like this book did for me, but is still different enough to be distinct. The story is told from the point of view of two characters, who at first seem quite separate but give it time and the misfit crew forms. There are the Companies, exploration, secrets amongst the crew, and body mod’ing. An excellent addition to the space opera genre and I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
