Throne of the Fallen

The first in what will surely be a wonderfully twisty dark romantasy series.

So fun and surprisingly well written-- I've read a lot of these books and they are rarely quite so well done. I was constantly expecting typos or sentences that didn't make sense, but those were just as absent as the plot holes I was on the lookout for. If you are looking for a dark romantasy or supernatural romance with a love interest that is a villain without being actually abusive-- this is a good one. The magic was fun, the characters and world building interesting-- purely an enjoyable and spicy read.
