Student Success Initiative
Getting and Using an SSI Card
Every current student attending a participating school in CADL’s service area will receive a virtual SSI card. Students use a school district code with their username or ID number as their card number. Your school will provide you with the necessary information to obtain your SSI library card number.
SSI cards are not connected with any other CADL account. Students may have an SSI account and a CADL Youth account.
Access all your cards in one place: Our mobile app offers convenient account management features so you can access all your cards in one place, including virtual SSI cards.
Resources and Training for Educators, Administrators and Parents
Use our resources and information for K-12 educators to enhance and complement classroom instruction.
Our monthly training sessions help educators, parents and administrators learn how to use SSI resources and services to support student success. Educators can earn one State Continuing Education Clock Hour (SCECH) credit for each training.
About the Student Success Initiative (SSI)
Partnering with school districts in our service area, we created the Student Success Initiative to empower educators and students with access to educational services and resources they would not otherwise have access to through their school libraries and systems. Through the SSI, over 20,000 students have access to CADL’s educational resources no matter where they live.
