Take & Make Kits
Many CADL branches offer a selection of free kits that include instructions and supplies to do a project or enjoy a storytime at home. Covering a variety of ages and interests, they are available to pick up while supplies last. Click on any branch name to see a list of what’s available this season. Storytime Craft to Go (Ages 2 – 6)
Stop by to pick up a themed storytime craft to complete at home. A new project will be released every Monday, then available anytime while supplies last.
Mondays, Sept. 9 – Nov. 25 (No Crafts to Go on Nov. 11)
Write Stuff (Ages 5 & up)
Pick up a themed activity bundle with writing prompts, word games, and coloring sheets. Instructions and supplies included. The kit is released on select Mondays and will be available while supplies last.

STEM Lab to Go (Ages 5 & up)
Explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics at home by picking up a kit with fun hands-on activities. A new kit with instructions and supplies will be released on Monday and available while supplies last.

Storytime to Go at CADL Dansville (Ages 2 – 6)
Stop by to pick up a themed storytime kit that includes songs, activities, a simple craft and a list of titles appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers. A new theme will be released each week, then available anytime while supplies last.

While supplies last: Pick up a kit from the library and take it home to paint.
Teen Make & Take Activities (Ages 10-18)
For teens, come into the library and participate in a new activity specifically for teens. All supplies will be available. Located in the teen section.
Gifts! (Ages 13+)
For any of the reasons you give and get gifts, pick up a free young adult book and corresponding gift bag from our book display in the teen section. Whether you’re giving yourself a little holiday treat or present hunting for someone else, use the tags to decide what gift would fit the reader best and take it home for a bookish surprise.

Looking for fun crafts and activities to do at home? Every week we will provide supplies and instructions for an activity or craft in a bag. All you need to do is pick one up from the library, take it home and make.
