Millage Facts
Approximately 90% of CADL’s operating budget comes from the voter-approved millage. If approved, the 2026 renewal would continue funding CADL at not to exceed 1.5586 mills for 4 years. If the millage does not pass, many library services will be eliminated, and branches may have to close.
Monthly Cost of CADL Millage
For every $100,000 of your home’s taxable value, the CADL library millage would cost approximately $156 per year or $13 per month. A CADL card is free to every resident of the service area. Visit cadl.org/value to calculate your own household’s savings by using library services.
