This documentary follows six dancers through the trials and finals of the Youth America Grand Prix for ages 9-19. The prizes include scholarships for elite schools and professional contracts. This inside look at children so focused on a goal that it is intimidating, inspiring, and amazing. At times heart-wrenching and awe-inspiring—this is an impressive presentation of exceptional dancers. I tracked it down for the beautiful Sierra Leonese-American dancer, Michaela DePrince, but all the featured performers were amazing. Oh, and don't miss the full preformances in the DVD extras.
