Normal People captures human interaction so realistically. The way the characters communicate and behave with one another was intimate and personal; I often felt like I was being invasive of their lives...in the best way. It gives readers a look into Connell and Marianne's lives as they navigate through the end of high school and their college years. The two of them come from different backgrounds, and experience life in contrasting ways. Yet, they were meant to be a part of each other's lives.
